We are an all-volunteer organization that provides recreational sports and leisure opportunities for youths and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other special needs, free of charge.

Your contribution will help our organization continue to provide these programs at no cost to the players and families with special needs in our community. 

​

During 2023 we had 185 different individuals with special needs ages 5 to 68 participate in our programs. We were blessed to once again be able to provide Buddy Ball Baseball during March, April, and May, Fishing with Buddies near shore charter boat fishing in April and October, Twisted Canvas Painting during June and July, Kickin’ It with Buddies Kickball in October and November, our inaugural Ridin’ with Buddies horseback riding in October and November, and a Sensory Santa experience in December. We also had over 350 volunteers throughout the year to help make all this possible.

 

2024 will be our 15th year for providing free, recreational sports and leisure opportunities for youths and adults with special needs.  We started in 2010 simply as Buddy Ball before establishing the 501(c)(3) MS Gulf Coast Buddy Sports, Inc. in 2015.

 

Our organization is all-volunteer from the top down. We depend on local individuals and businesses for generous financial and in-kind donations as well as corporate grants to make all of this happen.
